Everything was so nice, and we were warmly welcomed. The owner was very kind and even offered us a ride to the restaurant. The place was perfectly clean and comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend it to other travelers and would definitely come back!

I’ve met plenty of hosts, but never one as friendly and entertaining as this. A stay at Pension Haus Martha is an experience all by itself!

8/10
The host is very friendly and attentive to guests’ well-being, and breakfast is good. Rooms are tidy, though the appliances and furnishings are somewhat dated. If you enjoy a bit of nostalgia, this place is definitely recommended.

Haus Martha would be my choice again if we vacation in the Harz Mountains. The host is a real character, very friendly and helpful, and knows an incredible amount about the whole region. Breakfast is served as you like it. Bad Grund suits you if you want peace and quiet while staying close to the sights. The vintage rooms are very clean, and we slept wonderfully in our bed.

The rooms are roomy and everything was quite clean. It has a nostalgic feel, though the floors creak a little. We got a friendly welcome. Breakfast was okay with the reheated rolls, but some tomato or cucumber would have been a nice addition.
