Pension im Heidort

It’s quiet here, with the motorway not far away, and there’s plenty of parking. Entry is by PIN. The place is especially suitable for short stays and work trips. Rooms and kitchen are functionally equipped, with a shared kitchen and a consistently clean bathroom. The accommodation is well maintained, with daily cleaning and rubbish taken out.

I felt very comfortable during my two-night stay. My single room had its own bathroom and was clean, nicely furnished, and perfectly fine. The guesthouse owners were friendly and helpful. There’s parking, plus a coffee and tea machine and a shared kitchen by the entrance. Oyten is only a few minutes away by car, and Bremen takes about 13 minutes. Bassum village is within walking distance.

The shared kitchen was tidy and had basic equipment, and the bathrooms were clean, with shower gel, shampoo, and disposable razors provided. There’s a toilet downstairs, plus two bathrooms upstairs, each with a toilet and shower. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. One thing that needs attention is the upstairs hallway skylight, which badly needs cleaning. We stayed one night and enjoyed it a lot. Our room had a lovely balcony with two chairs. Key handover was smooth. There are four public parking spots in front; if they’re taken, the guesthouse has spaces behind the building. Bremen is around a 20-30 minute drive away.

We loved it. Everyone was very friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised by this great guesthouse. For the price, Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, and even shower gel, shampoo, and toothpaste in the bathroom are included. Some people just don’t understand what “guesthouse” means. Of course the kitchen and bathroom are shared. Read the details before you book. Rooms 12, 13, and 14 already have their own kitchen :)
