We had dinner outside in June. Service was good, though our waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed while it was busy. The Spaghettini appetizer was really tasty, but my Wolfsbarschfilet was just okay, nothing special. My husband was too full to eat his lambshank with polenta, so we asked to take it away. When we checked the bag at our residence, we were shocked to find the dish tossed into a sealed plastic bag, which was really unappetizing. There was no box or anything. The restaurant should get some proper takeaway boxes.

The hotel was quiet, and breakfast was good, but there weren't enough seats. The desk was very narrow, so it wasn't good for business. Bathroom drains smelled bad, and the TV had a very poor channel selection, no foreign or English channels and only a few German ones. It's very rural, with no shops or other restaurants nearby. When we mentioned problems, the staff had a bad attitude instead of seeming grateful for the feedback.

The courtyard and garden felt really warm and cozy, with a charming, almost farm-like feel. The staff were super friendly. There were a few flies around, but aside from that, I thought it was lovely.

We had such a pleasant stay and hope to be back soon. The owner was fantastic, so kind and available whenever we needed anything. The hotel and its location were lovely, and the restaurant had excellent food and service.

The rooms and hotel were gorgeous, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. My two work colleagues and I had a wonderful time, thanks in large part to how friendly and helpful everyone was. Sonja and Sabrina at reception also deserve a special thank you for helping with the booking and organising our trip. We’d give the place 10 stars if we could!
