We had a delicious meal and drinks with an awesome view of the cathedral and square. We tried a starter salad, flammkuchen with white asparagus, and sausages with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious, and Bianca gave us wonderful service.

The location is right where all the action is, and the service was wonderful. The staff were great, spoke fluent English (und Deutsch, natürlich), and the food was great too. They called a taxi for us and fixed the bathroom drain in our hotel within a couple of hours. The drain not working properly is the only reason I’d give the room four stars. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean, and breakfast was great as well. I truly believe you can’t have a bad experience here. I’ll come again.

Dinner and breakfast were both lovely, and the food was excellent. The place has a classic, warm feel, and the evening server was so nice. The location is great too. I didn’t stay overnight, but I did see a room, and it was beautiful and well appointed.

Breakfast ends at 10:30 am, so keep that in mind. The buffet is the best traditional German one in the area, with really good local ham, cheese, and bread. It has a charming family-run feel. The price can seem high for one person, though it’s about what you’d pay at other cafes.

The rooms and beds were what I expected, and the hotel photos are current. Breakfast was fine, though the selection is limited next to what big hotels offer. The parking information on hotels.com is wrong: you have to use a public parking house about 5 min away on foot. Spaces there are limited because it’s shared with a local attraction, and expect stairs.
