WiFi was very weak, and the bathrooms were mostly shared. The rooms were basic but had enough, including breakfast. The staff were amazing, accommodating and ready to help with anything we needed. Most guests respected the 10pm quiet time. Seems like a great place for groups, especially school or kids’ sports groups.
Right in the middle of town, so it’s handy for a night out. Try the gyro, it’s like a kebab but much better. The hostel is basic but has reasonable facilities, including bunk beds and some rooms with an en suite shower and toilet. It was very clean, with bedding and towels provided. Continental breakfast in the dining room had rolls, meat, cheese, coffee, tea, cereal and orange squash.
I’d really recommend it for a friends’ trip and an overnight stay. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the city, with parking next to the old house if you arrive by car. I loved the house and little park out front, and the staff were friendly. The place was clean and the food very good. I liked the beds too, though that’s for everyone to decide for themselves. :)
The nice ambience and cozy location have a dreamy feel, but the rooms need AC. It gets terribly hot at night and is unbearable for sleeping.
Everything was clean, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The price seems good so far. I hope they might offer a student discount, or at least one for Jugendherberge members, who pay 7€ a year. Thank you for everything.
