I tried the food from the vending machine. It was frozen, so it didn't taste fresh. For that price, I could get the same thing at Rewe three times over, and it tastes better.

I went back a few days ago, and the restaurant's quality has improved a lot. The meat was juicy and delicious, and the grilled melon was divine. On my earlier visit, the meat was a little dry, though the food was tasty. The service was friendly and helpful, the place was clean, the restrooms were well kept, and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed.

The traditional food was delicious, and the portions were generous. There's a good choice for vegetarians too. The service was really friendly and attentive. I'll have to report back on the espresso another time, we're staying home this time.

The food came quickly, tasted great, and there was plenty for all of us. The place was clean, and we were welcomed warmly when I came in with my wife and our 3-year-old son. Since I'd mentioned our child when booking, they had children's cutlery ready for him, which was a lovely touch. We had enough time to decide what to order. We had a great time at the Altes Zollhaus and will definitely return.

The food was excellent, a real credit to the kitchen. We were there today for Elsbeth Erfurt's 80th birthday, and the celebration was organized with a lot of care. The service was attentive too.
