Sleeping was okay, but the rest of my experience wasn't good, so I wouldn't recommend this place. The rooms weren't clean, the restaurant was closed, and there was no breakfast. Wi-Fi kept cutting out and often wouldn't connect at all. Check-in felt very strict, and there were no service staff on site during the day until 3 p.m. The windows didn't close properly, and sometimes people were unfriendly, saying, "I have other things to do." It's right at the top of the mountain. Parking was okay, which is about why I'd give it two stars.

The nearest supermarket, Edeka, is a six- or seven-minute walk away. The hotel is a little far from the centre, but the excellent transport system makes that manageable. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and cleaned every day. You can also leave a sign asking for extra cleaning while you're out. Breakfast isn't included, but I tried it a couple of times and found it delicious.

We stayed for one night. The countryside around the hotel is pleasant, though it's a little way out from Passau by car. The place was comfortable and clean, and the restaurant served good food from a varied menu. We couldn't find a lift, so hauling our luggage up and down two floors kept us fit, lol. The car park was full when we arrived because one section was closed while a tree was being cut down.

After 12 hours of driving, I arrived late for check-in. The staff were kind and left the keys at reception no matter what time I got there. It's a clean place in a quiet spot, with lovely scenery, an outdoor terrace, and friendly staff.

We arrived early in the morning, and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She offered to hold our luggage if we wanted to head into town, treated us like friends, and made sure our room was ready as soon as possible.
