The hills made a lovely view, and the Alps are about 30 minutes away. Parking is right outside, and there’s a restaurant in the same building. A very nice place to stay, with clean rooms.

Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal. It’s quaint, traditional German food, with wild game choices too. I especially liked the pork tenderloin medallions in Dijon gravy, served with noodles and Brussels sprouts with bacon.

The roast beef with onions was delicious, though I was disappointed by the salmon with tagliatelle. We had lunch there, and the service was impeccable. The food for the whole table arrived at the same time. Good traditional German cuisine.

One of the mini schnitzels was missing a piece, and the portion of fries was extremely meager. The menu’s first thing you notice is a request printed in red asking diners not to change their orders. I would have preferred sirloin steak instead of schnitzel with fries, which is a pity. I’ve rarely seen a restaurant seem so uninterested in making money. It’s a shame the restaurant industry is struggling.
