Every morning I could see the mountains from my window and hear the birdsong 💛. The room had what I needed, including a hairdryer, toiletries, bedside lamp and phone charger, plus a fridge, and it was serviced daily. I did notice cracks in the walls and ceilings, so some renovation seems due soon. Still, they gave the room an authentic vintage feel that I grew to like. Breakfast was good and varied. The receptionists can look a bit stern, and reception isn’t open around the clock, but they got me umbrellas, payment, and keys outside reception hours.

The hotel is clean and well located near a small shopping center in town, and breakfast was good. The reception staff weren’t courteous or helpful, and it showed in several ways. We were given one ticket per room. When we asked for another, the woman at reception made a face as if she was just closing the receipt. Reception isn’t open 24 hours, and our room ticket didn’t work properly, so there was nobody to ask for help.

The restaurant staff were kind and helpful. When we asked for milk to go with coffee we’d bought ourselves, since the hotel wouldn’t give us any, they kindly brought some to the door, along with salt. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were fine, with a nice kitchen if you get an apartment. But the reception experience was not gracious: the people there didn’t seem willing to help or serve guests. We asked for coffee powder and were refused with irrelevant excuses. As a family, we wanted a second room card for convenience, but the receptionist turned off the system so she couldn’t issue one. The Wi-Fi was also very, very bad. I don’t recommend it.

The restaurant food was delicious, and there’s a large seating area. Rooms have a nice ambience and a fridge, and the place is neat and tidy, good for families. Wi-Fi is free, though it slows down in the evenings. Safes are available, but not in every room. Breakfast is good.

We had a really good dinner, and breakfast was plentiful. The stay was good, clean, and peaceful.
