Looking for some quiet? This is a lovely place for it. The rooms are furnished with care and style, and the whole castle makes you want to stay awhile. Breakfast is generous, with regional products. We arrived spontaneously, but the hosts and staff were flexible and stayed warm and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend.

We were there Friday through Monday. The castle and rooms are beautiful, but little things are missing, like a bathroom trash can. After a few minutes in the shower, only cold water came out. Breakfast also fell well short of what you'd expect in a castle: one yogurt, four kinds of sausage, one juice, and two kinds of rolls, with very little variety. The mornings were very cold, too. And telling a guest they left a hallway light on overnight isn't a good idea. It's a lovely place, but there's room to improve.

We felt at home here, free to use the kitchen and library, relax in the garden with a bottle of sparkling wine, or settle into the library with a good wine. The welcome was warm, and the staff were attentive without getting in our way. It was a wonderfully restful night. Thanks again, we'd be happy to come back for a quiet weekend sometime.
