I almost never feel as unwelcome as I did here. The room smelled musty and of smoke, and the beds hadn't been freshly made. Breakfast ended at 10 a.m., and after that guests were told to leave the breakfast room. The staff seemed to have no idea what friendliness was. I picked this hotel on a neighbor's recommendation, which made the experience all the more disappointing. That single star is only because the system requires it, and the place didn't earn it.

We were greeted warmly, and the bed was comfortable. The windows had fly screens, breakfast was excellent, and dinner is available if you pre-order it. For cyclists, the route from the lake path from Alt Rehse via Krukow is recommended. In Krukow, cross the B198 federal highway and follow the farm track briefly. After about 500 meters, turn right onto the new cycle path along the former railway line, which makes for an easy ride to Mallin.

The surroundings were fantastic, and both the place we stayed and the breakfast were wonderful. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.
