Biohotel Alte Post

The room was spacious and clean, with a small but perfectly adequate bathroom. There’s also a balcony that I imagine would be lovely in summer. The rooms are in a separate building behind reception, so you have to step outside to reach them, though there’s a covered walkway. Parking was easy and free. The hotel has a smart, minimalist design, and the staff were very friendly. We were welcomed with a soft drink, and there’s a toy box at reception. The restaurant was good too.

We just stopped for a drink. It’s a lovely place, with charming staff, a nice beer garden, plenty of parking, and it welcomes dogs. I can imagine it would be a great place to stay.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, and dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with great food and lovely wait staff. The bathroom was very cramped, though. There was no coffee-making equipment, so if you want a coffee you have to get dressed and go to the restaurant.

We stayed overnight twice, going to and returning from our holiday in the south of France, and both visits were great. The service, quality, friendliness, and food were all first class. Breakfast even included the finest English marmalade. There’s really nothing to complain about. We’ll definitely book again next year.
