There’s plenty of free parking, though I couldn’t get inside the monastery or its chapel on my last visit because both were closed. It’s an impressive place, beautifully set among the woods. A shame the monastery is currently closed to visitors.

Those fasting seminars at the monastery gave a tired soul a lovely chance to step away from modern life’s rush and find some peace. It felt quiet and safe there. I’m really sad it’s no longer operating, and I’ll miss it.
