The Pfenniggeiger Hut was a great choice for our annual men's trip. It was clean, cozy, and furnished just right, with peaceful surroundings and friendly neighbors. The owner was really nice and easy to work with. We even talked about coming back next year, and we'd definitely recommend the hut. Thanks, Joachim, for a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic week at the Pfenniggeiger Hut. It was well equipped and very comfortable for our family, with beds for up to six and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The owner was easy to reach and dealt with anything right away. The restaurant in the main building served delicious lunch and dinner at fair prices. Philippsreut is also well placed for quick trips to the Czech Republic or excursions into Austria.

At nearly 980 meters, this accommodation makes a great base for hiking, motorcycling, or mountain biking. Our double room was very clean, and there was plenty of space. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. We’ll definitely return, highly recommended.
