The ski area itself is great, and the accommodation is ideally close to the slopes. But the place was a real letdown. It felt more like a poor hostel than the stay suggested by the photos, which looked like they might have been taken ten years ago. Everything seemed worn out. Our apartments weren't tidy, much of the equipment was broken, and the sofa and curtains were dirty. The mattresses were awful, and the hallway smelled like garbage. If you go in expecting lower quality lodging, you can still enjoy the holiday and the slopes, but don't count on the place looking like its photos.

It's in a handy spot right beside the ski slopes, but the whole place feels neglected. There's dirt throughout, the beds are broken, wardrobe doors are damaged, and the TV flickers so badly it's unwatchable. Even sitting on the chairs feels risky. The entrance is sunken and icy, making it almost impossible to drive in. The owner seems not to care about the property at all.

The apartment is in an excellent location, but the rest of the experience was poor. The owner advertises a tourist tax on the website at less than a third of what you actually get charged. The house has soot everywhere, and things like the bed, chair, and drawer are cracked. The entrance is full of rubbish, and the driveway is the only messy, icy one in the whole resort. To me, this house is an embarrassment to all of Mitterdorf.

For €650 over Pentecost, we got 24 beds in apartments A-D, which came to €9 per person per night. At that price, it's good value for a place right in the middle of a ski paradise, as long as you don't expect a three-star hotel or a perfect holiday rental. The apartments are a bit worn but clean, and the outdoor area could use some attention. Spending a little money on it could make a big difference. I'd say it's best for youth groups or anyone who just needs an affordable place to sleep.
