Mr. Jantzen was a wonderful host, with helpful tips for things to do, and he picked us up from the train station and took us back again. He was even prepared for minor emergencies, and helped us as our “safe-cracker” 🤭. Our well-kept apartment had everything we needed and a private terrace. The garden is a real gem, with lots of seating and a barbecue area. Maybe we’ll meet again sometime.

The cooktop and kitchen equipment were fine, and it’s okay as a place to sleep. But the rooms felt quite outdated and had a peculiar smell. For me, the price was much too high, especially for trainees. It’s a small apartment for showering and sleeping, and I wasn’t satisfied.

We felt at home here, almost like part of the family. The hosts were so friendly, and the mornings started with a lovely breakfast. Our room was spotless and tidy, with a small kitchen that had everything for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was spacious, had a window, and was very well kept. There’s also a clean, lovely garden with a cozy seating area, grill, and whirlpool for relaxing. You can use the porch swing, table tennis, and darts, and there’s a microwave and a drinks area where you can buy beer for a small fee. Everything is looked after with real attention to detail, and there’s plenty of information available. We’d love to come back. The Andreas family, July 2020.

The garden was a nice feature, with a pool and sauna for an extra fee, plus a barbecue area, ping-pong table, and loungers. Our first impression was pleasant, and the hosts were friendly, but the stay was disappointing. We booked four nights with breakfast, then stopped having it after the second attempt because we felt the value for money was unacceptable. The booking confirmation promised light cleaning every two days, but that never happened. During our stay, soil from the balcony planter was tracked into the apartment and left there, and our towels weren’t changed even once, despite the five-star rating. This guesthouse still has some hurdles to overcome.
