The setting in Saxony's Ore Mountains is beautiful, and the rooms are a good standard, though a bit plain. But service was below what I'd expect. Two young trainees seemed to be covering the dining room, bar, terrace and reception, and they were curt and definitely unfriendly. It's a pity, because I'd like to visit this lovely area more often. I hope the owners can find the staff needed to provide the service people should be able to expect at over 100€ per room per night.

A quiet place for a relaxing break. The food was great, and the rooms were very clean.

The fresh, cool air was lovely, and I even saw a deer 🦌. It's a beautiful spot in a valley, with great wildlife and an amazing breakfast.
