This was my third time at Waldeck, and it's been consistent every visit: the rooms are really clean, the breakfast and restaurant are good, and the atmosphere is warm.

We had a wonderful holiday in the holiday home at the Waldeck country inn and guesthouse, staying from December 25 to January 2. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating that we felt welcome straight away. The food was exceptionally good, and the service was always warm and attentive. We enjoyed our time there very much and would love to return.

The "Waldeck" has become almost like home to me. I grew up in this region, my family still lives here, and I visit several times a year. My family and I were celebrating birthdays at the "Waldeck" as far back as 1987. Annette Faust and her team are wonderful hosts. The food and service are lovely, and they keep their traditions alive. The location is also a first-class base for lovely hikes in this unique region and trips around the area. I wouldn't think of staying elsewhere. I'd have to be really desperate to book somewhere else! Best wishes to everyone for a happy, healthy and successful 2026, and I hope you thrive for many years to come. Thanks for everything. It's worth a visit in any season!

The beef had a clean, pleasant taste that stood out right away. My burger with fries, several sauces and cucumber salad was delicious, and the meat came from a butcher shop in the Ore Mountains. My parents really enjoyed their food too. I'll definitely eat at "Waldeck" again. 😋
