We were hiking and stopped for takeaway because we were starving and everything else was closed. The woman checked with the kitchen and offered us nuggets and fries. She asked us to wait outside, which seemed normal enough, but then a male worker stared at us for about ten seconds before rudely asking what we were doing there. We told him we were waiting for our food, and he walked off without answering. When he came back, he put two plates on the counter. We explained we'd ordered takeaway, so he brought over two boxes, dropped them beside us, and left. The whole interaction was incredibly rude. We paid 25€ for nuggets and fries, plus 2€ for ketchup and mayo. She was polite and nice; he was unbelievably rude.

Really nice hotel, kept clean and in great shape. The staff were super friendly, and the food was great, especially breakfast.

We waited half an hour for just two beers, even though there were only about six other people in the restaurant. The waiter didn't even say sorry. The service was extremely poor, and the staff had a bad attitude.

My room had a patio facing the hillside, and the bathroom was nicely stocked. The place isn't fancy, but it was immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the lift worked, which is always handy with luggage. The restaurant had very good food and a nice range of menu choices, and breakfast was included with the room. The location was great, right by the path to the theater, paddle boats, trout restaurant, the 900 steps to the top, and nearby gift shops.

After hiking up to the Bastei, we stopped in for a few cold beers. The restrooms were very clean, and it seems like a nice hotel. A good place to drop by when you're thirsty.
