We were just stopping overnight on our way back from Slovenia, but I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. The lakeside location is lovely, and breakfast in the restaurant was great. Staff were friendly and really helped us with a late check-in. There was demolition work next door during our visit on 28 Sept 2025, and it was noisy from 0700. We had to get up early anyway, and I’m sure it won’t be an issue once the work is finished.

Breakfast is a real highlight, with such a broad selection that even very demanding guests should find plenty to like. The hotel sits in a great spot by the lake, and the price feels fair for what’s offered. One drawback is that there’s no elevator to get to the rooms. Still, it’s well worth a visit.

We got a good off-season price compared with the other places around. The dining room also has a nice view, and breakfast was the highlight: lots of choice, good quality, and staff kept topping up the buffet. The room was a bit small, but it worked fine.

Plenty of choice at breakfast, and there’s a really good steakhouse at the bottom of the hotel that I’d recommend. The hospitality, decor, and cleanliness more than make up for the hassle of carrying lots of luggage up without an escalator. Such a lovely hotel for a great price!! 😊
