Hotel Restaurant zur Marienburg

The Candle Light Dinner was lovely, with a great atmosphere and food and service that were better than we usually find together. At 44€ pP for four courses, drinks excluded, the price felt completely fair. We'd happily return.

Breakfast was included, and we ate outside in the perfect weather. The spread was beautiful and tasty. The whole stay was delightful, especially given that we booked the night before because it was near the wine tasting we were doing. We'll recommend it to friends and family. It's the nicest 3 star hotel we've stayed in, and we think it deserves to be a 4 star hotel. The woman at the desk was polite and helpful, and check-in was quick. We showed our vaccine cards and filled in the contact details. Our room was in a separate building on the second floor. It was lovely, modern but still cozy, spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated. There was an A/C unit too. The only drawback was spotty wifi throughout the room, though we didn't need it much.

The room was spacious and really comfortable, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. I especially loved the complete breakfast buffet, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time. In a quiet village setting, the hotel also has friendly staff and a good restaurant. I'd definitely recommend it as a base for exploring the Mosel area.

We enjoyed our stay at Marienburg hotel again, for the second time. The location is lovely, the hosts are friendly, and the restaurant is very good.
