Wein & Wohngut Paulushof

The hosts and their staff always find time for a friendly chat, even when we're reading or doing something else. That's the best part of our visits. We've been coming for years, and the beautiful, very clean rooms make us feel at home right away. Breakfast is incredibly good, with everything prepared with care. Everything is always perfect, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

The owners were so open, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious, and breakfast was superb. The place is beautiful, lovingly looked after and furnished, and everything felt perfect. We can only rate it 5 out of 5, though we'd clearly give it 10+ if we could. We'll definitely return. I appreciated being able to reach hills just a few meters away at the edge of town, since I'm a runner used to living somewhere flat. The location on the outskirts also seems ideal for athletes and hikers. We were seven people from Duisburg/Düsseldorf spending New Year's Eve at the Paulushof, and all of us enjoyed the stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. They sorted out a problem promptly, even on New Year's Eve. We also enjoyed the sauna area on New Year's Day: a very large sauna, good showers to cool off, foot baths, loungers, and a cozy fireplace. It had everything we wanted. We've been returning to Pünderich since 2013 and will consider the Paulushof again next time. Many thanks to the Paulushof team!

We've done the wine and culinary weekend for the third time now. It was fantastic again, so we'll be back next year. The hosts are incredibly kind, and you couldn't ask for a more pampering weekend.
