It was a large, usable apartment, though I wouldn’t call it a nice holiday place. That part is subjective. What isn’t subjective is that agreed amounts still haven’t been refunded, despite repeated requests and several months passing. I can’t recommend it.

We wanted a relaxing weekend, but ended up canceling because we have a different idea of hospitality. The landlady’s mistake shouldn’t have been pushed onto us like that. I’d booked for five people, Friday to Saturday, through Booking.com. Three weeks before arrival, she called to say she’d changed booking platforms and had another reservation for the same dates. First she asked me to cancel, then said the stay could go ahead, but wanted an extra €30 for parking because she doesn’t usually rent for such short stays. When I said no, her tone changed and she hung up. There were more persistent calls and messages afterward. She then demanded a PCR test, not an antigen rapid test, even though we were all vaccinated. We were sure we wouldn’t have had the nice, restful weekend we’d hoped for, so we canceled.
