Prices felt high. A mango juice at 9 Euros and a glass of Coke at 6.50 Euros seemed excessive. The restaurant menu was very limited, with no fries or ice cream, and not even Glühwein.

The junior suite had been redone in a modern style, and we had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel with its unique setting. Breakfast was lovely, especially the perfectly fried eggs. The bathroom was spacious, though the shower pressure was really poor. If you're allergic to dust, be cautious because there are carpets.

At checkout, the rate was quite different from what I'd been quoted when we arrived. The staff were rude and kept repeating, "you have to pay"; they eventually lowered the rate, then threw the bill at me. I'd also been told on arrival that I could leave the car in the center, but by morning I was warned I'd get a fine and had to move it quickly. There is free parking behind the hotel parking.

Just a few blocks from the historical center, this is a cozy, enchanting hotel. The bathroom was immaculate, and I loved the wide open shower. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious.

The cathedral and castle in Quedlinburg are only a short distance away. We had a lovely stay in this charming historic property, with comfortable updated rooms. Ours was very spacious, with two seating areas and a large bathroom. The staff were kind, and breakfast was great.
