Quedlinburg is a lovely place for a holiday, and the apartment was clean during our weeklong summer stay. But we left our coats behind, and that's where things went wrong. I contacted the owner once, and he said he would ask the cleaning lady to send them to us at our expense. More than six weeks have passed, and we still haven't heard from him. He no longer responds to messages and can't be reached. Family Ahrend, this is a shame. We would have liked to return, but not after being treated this way. I had already left a positive review on Booking before I realized the coats were missing. They certainly didn't deserve that review.

The landlord was very nice, and the apartment has been renovated with care. It's only a short walk into town and feels perfect, though the stairs are very steep and have no handrails.

The apartment was really nice and comfortably furnished. The area was quiet and relaxing as well.
