The location was quiet and made it easy to walk into town or to an Edeka store with an ATM. Our unit at the Hostel Vorharz Quedlinburg was very spacious, with a washer, and the WiFi was really strong. We could have used a few more kitchen utensils and some paper coffee filters, but we managed fine.

We were two people staying one night in a triple room with a TV. The shared kitchen was well equipped and clean, and the host was friendly, flexible, and very easy to communicate with. Self check-in was convenient too. The building was noisy, though it didn’t bother me personally. There were a few small maintenance issues. The shutter still worked, but only with a lot of effort, and it needs fixing. The place isn’t wheelchair accessible. For the location, I felt the nightly price was a bit high, especially with the local tax added. I’d recommend it if you’re fine with a 20-minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the city center. Fixing the shutter and reducing the price by at least the tourist tax could make it more appealing to students and people on lower incomes. I hope the friendly, excellent communication continues. Thanks for the stay.
