The room in the half-timbered building was wonderful, and breakfast was outstanding. There was plenty to choose from, everything tasted good, and you could even have a glass of sparkling wine. A lovely touch. At Christmas, rooms in Quedlinburg cost more than usual, which is understandable when the Advent in the Courtyards makes up for it so well. Staying in one of those courtyards is just great. Experiencing the Christmas market and Advent in Quedlinburg is a really romantic, festive trip and well worth it.

We’ve visited in summer before, and it was absolutely fantastic. The city is beautiful, and the castle is well worth a visit. At Christmas, the little courtyards with their charming markets make it especially lovely.

In the heart of Quedlinburg, this is a small, modest hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and practical, and the breakfast buffet had what you need to start the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We’d gladly come back.

Quedlinburg is always worth visiting, especially at Christmas, but our room was disappointing. It was very run-down, with stained carpet, dim lights, worn chairs, and a broken bathroom door lock. For that condition, the price wasn’t justified.
