We stayed four winter nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast each day was generous. Our maisonette on the second floor was spacious and comfortable, with a separate sleeping area reached by stairs, though there’s no door between the spaces. It was quiet, and the rooms were very clean. The centre is within walking distance. We arrived late in the afternoon after reception had closed, but got the key easily by calling a nearby hotel and asking for the key box code. We’d definitely recommend Maria Aurora to other travellers.

A lovely garden greets you at the entrance, and the location is ideal between the castle and the old city centre. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Our room and toilet were clean, and there was good parking. Breakfast was excellent, with personal attention in the breakfast room. We slept well in the quiet surroundings. A well-run hidden gem, and we’d be happy to return.

A cosy, clean room, friendly staff, and good value for money in a wonderfully picturesque town. This hotel garni is very pet-friendly, and there’s a nice nearby park for walking the dog. Highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely come back. The picture is of Quedlinburg town hall, not the hotel.

It’s a beautiful building, and most of the breakfast was delicious. Go early, though, because some items run out and aren’t replenished. The bread was a bit hard.

Nice enough for a 3-star hotel. Just don’t expect luxury or design touches.
