We stayed there a year ago and it was a disaster then too. The rooms were dated and dirty, and the two people there were the most unpleasant we've ever met. It's unacceptable. The other competitors were all better, and Hotel EINFACH SCHÖN should have won without question. We know it and would recommend it wholeheartedly. The €3,000 should really be returned, since it was accepted unjustly, and an apology to everyone else is in order. After that broadcast, I think most people will avoid this guesthouse. And just to be clear, an egg in a glass is a soft-boiled egg that's peeled and served in a glass with salt and pepper. Any restaurateur offering it ought to know that.

My experience at Pension Katrin was positive. I spent three days there with colleagues in January 2015, and everything went smoothly from arrival through departure. The owners were warm and accommodating, and I felt looked after. My room was huge and stylish, and the place felt more comfortable to me than many modern hotels. I haven't seen the Vox TV program people often criticize here, so this review is based only on the guesthouse itself. I don't know what happened on the show, but judging a place you've never stayed at based on a TV program seems harsh. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

In Room No. 3, the mattress is worn out, and there's dust under the bed. The bathroom smells of urine. The toothbrush holder was still dirty from the previous guest, the trash hadn't been emptied, the shower shelf was dirty, and the hand shower was covered in limescale. The house itself is pretty and has a lot of nice little details, and I actually like the furnishings. A few things could still be better: the TV can't be seen from the bed because of the front panel, the toilet is very low, and although there's a light switch, there's no ceiling light. More electrical outlets would be useful too.

The whole competition was a farce, and I think regular and potential customers should stay away. It would only be fair if you somehow lost the prize money you fraudulently obtained. I went online to find somewhere to vent the anger the show "My Heavenly Hotel" stirred up in me. I hope you both watched it and are deeply ashamed. I'm ashamed of you and your comments too, and almost speechless. I agree with what the others have said.
