The room design was great, especially the chandelier, and the place is worth the price. It’s near Dresden, with a lovely atmosphere, though you can hear the tram; it wasn’t uncomfortable. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty options. The rooms were clean, but not spotless, as the hair dryer handle was sticky. The late check-in instructions were in German and translated into different sentences, but we did get into our rooms in the end. Staff were responsive, helpful and friendly.

The food is prepared excellently, with a good selection of German cuisine. That big Wiener schnitzel is a must, and the draft beers are good too. Prices are a little above average but match the service. The place has a slightly rustic feel and is very clean.

The rooms are clean and fancy, and the staff are friendly. They can get really hot in summer, though, and there’s no air conditioning. I wish the breakfast counter had something covering the food to keep flies from wandering over it. Some signs with English translations would also help, since not everybody can read German fluently, even if I’d like to.
