The host did nothing to help us and left us stuck late at night. Mistakes can happen, but the rudeness, lack of professionalism, and complete lack of responsibility were unacceptable. We booked the apartment through Airbnb and had one of our worst experiences. We arrived at 10:30 p.m. and followed the self-check-in instructions. The smart lock code worked, and we found the key card for our assigned room. When we opened the door, a woman was already asleep inside. She was understandably frightened. We apologized immediately and left. We checked the booking details and saw that she'd been assigned exactly the same room and floor number. We tried to contact the host through Airbnb chat and the number provided, but got no answer. We also called the number posted on the front door. The person who answered was incredibly rude, said he couldn't see our booking, and told us to leave. With no help from the host, we contacted Airbnb support at 11 p.m. Only then did the host send one message: “I will check it.” We never heard from him again. He stopped replying to us and Airbnb, even though it was clear he was reading the messages. After waiting without a solution, we asked Airbnb to cancel the reservation, and they did at 11:40 p.m. If you're considering this place, stay away.

The restaurant wasn't open, though the breakfast room was available. The suites are pet friendly, very comfortable, and a good size, with a stocked kitchen and facilities. They're clean and contemporary, and were newly built after a fire. The sauna is in the original cellar area, where the ceilings are low.

We really enjoyed our three nights and felt very much at home. The reception was lovely and attentive. The apartment had plenty of room for four adults and three kids, and it's quite modern. After a long day out, it was nice to relax there in the evening. The balcony was a bonus for an evening drink, and the apartment is close to Konstanz while still outside the city. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed. My dad was the only one missing something, a fan, since he gets hot easily. The kids watched Netflix for a few minutes before bed while we had tea. Thanks for a pleasant stay. We look forward to booking with you again. And try booking directly with them to save a few extra euros. ;)

The views were nice, but mosquitoes were all over the room at night, right above the bed, and that really spoiled my stay. There was no staff around at night when I wanted to complain. I was glad my visit ended quickly. If you stay here, try to avoid a room on the top floor.

The hotel felt peaceful and charming, and everything was clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff were kind and attentive. Frau Anne F. was especially polite and shared great tips that made our visit even better. I’d recommend it.
