Median Hotel Hannover Messe

Breakfast was really good, with everything very fresh. I only missed having sausages with the bacon and scrambled eggs. There was plenty of parking, at EUR 12 for one night. We stayed one night with the family on the way from Italy to Denmark. The hotel is in a very quiet spot, easy to reach from the autobahn. We arrived late, but reception is open 24 hours, and the experienced receptionist made us feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, modern and nicely furnished. The beds were good, though on the soft side. I can recommend the hotel for short or long stays.

The beds were the one downside. They were quite hard, and there was no mattress topper. Otherwise, this was a very good hotel for a stop on the way. It’s easy to reach from the motorway, with a small grocery store opposite and a larger Rewe 500 meters away. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms have good soundproofing and air conditioning. Breakfast was really good, with chilled yoghurt and fruit salad, lots of breads, traditional cold cuts, scrambled eggs and delicious cakes to have with coffee.

The hotel was obviously overpriced during the Hannover messe, but the team gave us exceptional service and did everything they could to make things convenient for us. Special thanks to Oliver, Viktor and Bader. You made our stay wonderful and joyful!

The staff are extraordinarily friendly, and the rooms are what you’d expect from a 3 star hotel. I gave service two stars because of the environmental policy. Changing towels and bed covers every two days makes sense, but I question whether cleaning the room every two days protects the environment more than it saves the property money.
