We first saw the castle during the Störtebeker open-air theater performance, so we came by to look around and share what we thought. The view across the Bodden lagoon is stunning, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly, and the prices were surprisingly good. We'd be happy to return for a meal sometime.

Bowling on one of the four lanes was a fun way to round off the evening after our meal. We started with Würzfleisch, a type of stew, then had Hamburger Schnitzel. The food and drinks were excellent, and the place has that old-time feel to it. It's a down-to-earth restaurant with a great atmosphere, and I really liked it. Afterwards I ordered head cheese, which was absolutely delicious and well worth trying. Highly recommend it 😊👌👍

We spent two weeks here on holiday, and the service was the friendliest we've come across so far. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating, and the food was delicious too. The prices were great for what we got. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, of course, and that's worth keeping in mind, but we'd highly recommend it.

We came here by chance after the restaurant we'd planned on visiting was closed during the festival. It was raining, and the pre-packaged food outside was overpriced, so this was a great alternative. The place was clean and the service excellent. The menu is limited and quite a bit of it may be frozen, but we enjoyed what we ordered. The wine and beer were really good too. Highly recommended when you're looking for another option around here.
