We felt so welcome here, almost like we were at home, only with breakfast taken care of and no dishes to wash. We’d happily return. The hosts were warm when we arrived, and a special thank you to Mr. Roth, who clearly enjoys looking after his guests. The area is beautiful, with hiking routes starting right from the house. A car helps for some trips, and Dernbachhaus is about a ten-minute walk away. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a nice balcony and table and chairs for relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was spacious, and there was a guest fridge with drinks, plus a large fridge and kettle in the room. It was cleaned thoroughly each morning while we were at breakfast. Breakfast was a highlight: a carefully prepared buffet, fresh fried and scrambled eggs cooked by the owner, and excellent coffee you could refill as often as you liked. I was very happy with my stay. The hotel was comfortable, and the host was so friendly and accommodating, always willing to give advice. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a peaceful spot with a lovely view and hiking paths close by, making it a good base for excursions. The room was bright, spotless, and very spacious, with a comfortable sitting area. There was a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, plates, cups, and cutlery, so having a coffee or a small snack was easy. Breakfast was superb, with plenty to choose from, and the reception staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.
