Heidi even picked us up at the train station and took us back there at the end of our holiday, which was incredibly thoughtful. We felt at home at Haus Almfrieden from the start. Everything was clean, cozy, well equipped, and full of little touches, and you can tell the place is run with a lot of care. The restaurants aren’t right nearby, but the municipality’s free Watzmobile makes it easy to get around without stress. We’d recommend staying here wholeheartedly and would love to return.

Heidi and Sepp were such welcoming, helpful hosts. They did their best to take care of our wishes, and we’re grateful for it. The guesthouse is lovely, surrounded by nature, with a view of the Watzmann from behind and cows and goats grazing next door. It’s rural but well connected, so many holiday spots are still fairly quick to reach. Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious every day, and fresh drinks were available from the cellar throughout the day at a very fair price. It felt like a week in paradise. We’ll definitely meet again. Heidi is such a lovely host, and we had a dreamy view from the balcony. It’s a wonderful base for hikes, even if you don’t have a car.

We really enjoyed chatting with the hosts, and breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam and cream cheese. Both hosts greeted us personally and gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed five nights as a couple at Haus Almfrieden. The room was spacious and clean. Thanks, Heidi and Sepp, for a lovely stay. We’ve already recommended the place and would happily recommend it again.

The mountain scenery and starry sky were unforgettable. We had two lovely nights in a beautiful, welcoming setting, with the house right in the middle of the alpine landscape. Heidi was very kind and even surprised us with little extras at breakfast. Such a great experience!
