We wished we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a very spacious, clean place with friendly hosts, in a storybook town full of good restaurants and gorgeous scenery.

We came in February and felt very comfortable here, dogs included. The apartment is modern and has everything you need, and the family was friendly and accommodating. It’s also a great base for different hikes.

We stayed in the spacious, clean, and lovely "Edelweiss" apartment, with its well-kept terrace tucked among greenery. The location has beautiful scenery and is ideal. Even during intense summer heat, the apartment stayed cool inside, which was a big plus. Mr. Maier was welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we needed something. We highly recommend Gästehaus Waldrast.

Many trails begin right at the accommodation, so it’s ideal for hiking. The holiday apartment is spacious at 50 sq m, and the landlords are friendly and helpful. The balcony could use a clean, with quite a lot of cobwebs, and there weren’t any cushions for the balcony furniture.

We felt at home right away and were completely satisfied with our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The hospitality stood out in particular, everyone was warm, helpful, and attentive, which you can’t take for granted. Thanks for a great time. We’d love to come back. Best wishes from Bad Kissingen 🧡
