That sunset view of the Hochkalter and Watzmann was breathtaking, and the hiking spots are close by. Hintersee was an easy walk, and so was Klausbachtal. Hochschwarzeck and Taubensee are nearby too. We spent Christmas here, our first time at this hotel, and it exceeded what we expected. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was delicious, with lots to choose from at breakfast and a tasty dinner menu. There were plenty of choices for the kids as well. Meals came on time, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. The family wellness area was great, with a heated pool and a family sauna. The only thing I missed was a more international mix of guests, though that may have been because of the season. We'd love to return. Thanks, Family Resch & Staff, for making our stay unforgettable!

We really enjoyed our vacation in Berchtesgaden, thanks to family Resch and all the staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the beds could have been better. The pool had an astonishing view straight toward the famous Watzmann, and the spa area was clean too. From our balcony, we could see the Hochkalter and Watzmann, and hiking spots like Hintersee and Klausbachtal were very close. There were loads of tasty choices on the regular and kids' menus, though I would have liked more vegetarian options. The staff were kind and supportive. There could also have been more international guests.

We made good use of the hiking trails and enjoyed being outdoors, and our well-trained service dog was welcome too. They even brought her water when I hadn't brought any. I always clean up after her, since it's awful when owners leave their dogs' mess behind and spoil things for other dog owners. Some places are hesitant about dogs, but we had no problems at all here. The hotel was in a picturesque setting, and the room rates were exceptional. A large hot breakfast buffet was included each morning, and we really enjoyed it. We also relaxed in the wellness center every day and loved the restaurant's delicious range of dishes. The desserts were out of this world, and they even had Napa Valley Wine. Thanks so much, Hindenburglinde and Staff. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon.
