Hotel-Gasthof Nutzkaser

We waited 45 minutes for one dish, then the other two came 20 minutes later, cold. The waiters seemed overwhelmed, and the food tasted like convenience food from the fridge, not homemade. For a rather expensive restaurant, it's also disappointing that they don't accept credit cards.

The only real issue in my room was the lack of power outlets. A power strip or something similar would solve that, though. The Watzmann room gave me a direct view of Watzmann from my bed, one of the area's majestic mountains. It was spacious and decorated in a Bavarian style. The hotel sits away from the road, a little secluded, which made for a good night's sleep. It's surrounded by mountain peaks and nature, and there's a restaurant on site. I've eaten there several times before; the regional dishes are good and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. A great spot for relaxing and spending time outdoors, and I'll definitely visit again.

I stayed here with my son and thought it was a nice place. I really recommend having dinner, the food was delicious and the order was handled very well.

The view was magnificent, but we had stomach aches all night. Dinner came to the table unusually fast. The soup was good, though not very hot, and the main course arrived within minutes and wasn't hot either. It seemed precooked, McDonald's style.
