Hotel Atlantis

My partner and I stayed between Christmas and New Year. The rooms were simple and very clean, and everything worked as it should. We were a bit late for breakfast on Jan 1st, but they sorted it out for us. It’s only four minutes from the base, and attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets are between 8 and 20 minutes away.

The staff were always smiling, happy, and ready to help. During my lengthy stay they started to feel like family, and I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The rooms were the cleanest I’ve ever been in, and the attention to detail was fabulous. Breakfast was always hot with plenty to eat, and they kept changing things up. I also loved winding down by the fire pit in the evenings.

I didn’t have time to explore the area, so all I can say about the location is it’s an easy 10-minute drive from Ramstein AFB. The price seems fair for what you get, especially compared with the AF base hotel, though I don’t know Germany well enough to judge local prices. My single room was tiny but did the job. It was clean, with ample closet space, a desk for using a computer, and a neat bathroom with what you’d expect. Wi-Fi worked well from my third-floor room all the way to the balcony or porch by the restaurant. Breakfast was great compared with a typical US hotel, with eggs, bacon, sushi, coffee, juice, meats, and cheeses.

Train delays meant I arrived late, but a staff member was waiting for me. They got me a room right away so I could rest, which felt great. The customer service was great, breakfast amazing, and I love the Atlantis Hotel for its convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly, professional staff. I recommend it 200%.
