Fischerhaus Quilitz

The holiday homes are fantastic bases for great adventures, and we'll be back. It's wonderfully quiet, with fresh rolls delivered daily and swimming access right nearby, plus boat rentals. Thank you so much.

We spent Father's Day here as a group of six at the Hering Fisherman's House. It's one of about seven houses built in the same style. The house is modern and well-equipped, and a nearby beach has a small playground. The water isn't within sight as promised, but it's just a minute's walk away. It's very quiet, though you can't see much of the sky. The attic is reached through one of the bedrooms, so the layout is best suited to two families with one or two children each. We'd clearly love to come back.

The hotel office staff were very friendly, and the house itself is ideal if you're after peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. We stayed at the beginning of May 2019, returning to the same holiday home, "Plötz," after our first visit about two and a half years earlier. We were so impressed then that we came back, and the house hadn't lost any of its quality. The furnishings are lovingly done, stylish, high-quality, and tasteful, with nothing left to be desired. Everything was great. We'll definitely return.

The houses are spotless and have all the amenities of a private home. They're beautifully furnished, though the style can get in the way of practicality. We were on guard all the time in case the children dropped one of the glasses or plates, so children's tableware would be very welcome. We also missed ordinary coffee mugs. The pretty cups and saucers take up too much room on the terrace breakfast table and aren't very practical. The houses are in a quiet location and the higher price seems to match the furnishings. The local council could do much more, though, the roads are a complete disaster! One lovely morning walk is to the organic shop in Quilitz for bread rolls. They also have excellent juices, jams, vegetables, eggs, cheese, bread, and newspapers.
