The menu is limited, but it has enough options for me, and the prices aren’t higher than other traditional German restaurants. I’ve eaten at plenty of places like this over the years and usually enjoy the simple food, but this one was better in every way. My house Schnitzle was outstanding. My four-year-old son couldn’t decide between Spaeztle and French fries, so they happily gave me half of each. For the record, he ate the Spaeztle. The side salad was really good too. I’d definitely return if I’m in the area, though sadly that’ll probably never happen.

The food was really good, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were attentive, too. I ordered the Engel Schnitzel and it tasted great. I came with my family and will definitely be back!

It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful city, but it seems there’s been no investment for years. The hall smells of food and cigarettes, and everything is old and damaged. The owners were unpleasant. The towels were rough and had holes. Never again!
