Hotel Castle Rastatt

The rooms are on the small side, just as the description says. Still, I agree with the other comments about the staff and breakfast. The staff are warm and friendly, everything was very clean, and breakfast was healthy. We didn't hear outside noise at all. The quality for the price is perfect.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful during the almost-week I spent at this hotel. It felt like home.

Mohamed was helpful from before I arrived right through the end of my business stay. When I had trouble with my train, he helped me call a taxi and figure out all the routes I needed. My room was super clean and I slept really well. I was even able to stay at the hotel for an hour after checking out. Thanks so much for being kind, Mohamed. If I come back, I'll stay here again and recommend it.

The breakfast is marvelous, and the staff are friendly. The hotel is basic but clean, with free parking, a standard room, and all the facilities you need. The shower cabin is very cramped. Reception shuts at 20:00, though there's an entrance you can use 24/7. The location is right by platform 1 of a busy railway station. Cargo trains seem to pass through your room every 10 minutes. The rooms are quite soundproof, but you still hear them clearly. The price is fair. It's not my first choice, but I'll keep it on my list when I'm in Rastatt, especially for breakfast and the friendly staff.
