We only stayed a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is close enough to the center to walk, which made it easy to explore nearby sights and enjoy the city. Inside, the artistic, vintage decor gave the place a charming feel. The café in the hotel was convenient and looked really appealing. We'd recommend it to others and plan to extend our stay next time.

The breakfast was a little on the light side. Still, the hotel is clean and a pleasure to stay in, with a tasteful, understated restoration and a simple, functional interior. It's very well placed for seeing the city. Crossing the park by the Danube to get to the stone bridge was especially lovely.

It's a charming place, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great for the price. The hotel is on the small island across from the cathedral, with plenty of parking. The cathedral is just a 10-minute walk away, and the surroundings are quiet.

Reception doesn't keep long opening hours, which could be a drawback for some. My arrival and departure were both outside those hours, though, and everything was handled efficiently with easy communication. It's a quirky, appealing place a short walk from the Altstadt. The rooms feel new and fresh, with vintage furniture and a good bathroom. Parking was simple, either right outside or at a large free car park a couple of hundred metres away. That's a real bonus in Regensburg, where parking can be difficult or expensive.
