Breakfast was a bright spot: the tea bar had a great choice of loose-leaf teas, with excellent quality, and we loved choosing what we wanted. The parking area is cozy, but there was often a queue. To enter or leave, you have to pass through a crowded gym parking area, and I once waited 5 minutes for gym visitors to park and clear the alley. Inside, the rooms felt dark, with too little light even in the shower. The grey carpets with bird prints and red doors felt depressing and made us want to leave. The lobby tea, which is meant to welcome guests, stayed cold all day. When we asked for it to be replaced, they tried to sell us paid tea instead.

The breakfast buffet was good, though the coffee was very low quality. The location was convenient, around a 20-minute walk to the city center. We had a double room with breakfast, but the advertised "queen beds" weren't there. It was two single beds pushed together with a noticeable gap between the mattresses. Staff said every room was like that when we asked to move. Our TV didn't work because, they said, the whole hotel had no TV signal and there was nothing they could do. They refused a discounted price, even though we had no working TV during all 3 nights of our stay.

I stay here often and it's always my go-to when I'm in the area. It's clean, modern, and conveniently located, with a comfortable and reliable stay for a budget-friendly price. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they're always willing to accommodate guests. I'd highly recommend it.

I only stayed one night, but the room was clean and pleasant, and I felt welcome when I arrived :) The two single beds pushed together were a bit of a shame. Still, it was fine for a weekend break, and I’d stay here again if I return to Regensburg.

The staff were genuinely helpful, even when some check-in software problems came up, and they quickly recognized my Diamond Elite status and provided the usual perks. The beds were comfortable, and some rooms have a terrace. It’s a good value, especially compared with another IHG hotel nearby. There’s free public street parking a little way off too, if you’re okay with a short walk.
