We'd happily stay again, just not in the same room. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and during the extreme heat wave we had to keep the windows open. The biergarten was right under our window, with loud conversations and laughter going on until around midnight. If we hadn't been kept awake all night before getting up at 4am for a flight, I think I would have absolutely loved this hotel. They accidentally charged us twice for the room, then refunded the extra charge when they realized the mistake. We were still left with the international transaction fee for their error.

It's a good, inexpensive little hotel, more like a pension, and a great place to stay when visiting Regensburg. Parking on site is free, and the WIFI was excellent, with great bandwidth and signal in the room. It's very quiet, and the guests seemed mainly to be businessmen and technicians on one-night stopovers. The rooms aren't huge, but have all the amenities and an en-suite bathroom, plus two chairs and a desk, which was great. It's a 15-minute walk to the town centre and its restaurants and cafes. The breakfast buffet was excellent and varied, and the restaurant had a typically German menu at reasonable prices. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.

The owner was very friendly, and all the amenities were well taken care of. Great service. I'd definitely recommend it to other people visiting.

I only visited the restaurant, so I can't comment on the rooms. The service was good, the waiters were nice, and I have no complaints.

The room was nice and clean. It's a little far from the train station, and breakfast was simple but okay.
