It’s far enough from the center to feel peaceful, but an easy walk if you want to explore Regensburg. The rooms were a good size, clean and in working order, and check-in was friendly and efficient. Everyone we met on staff was friendly. One woman at reception was especially excellent, and I’m sure she has a great future in hotel management. I didn’t get her name, but mentioned her at checkout and the person knew who I meant. She checked us in on our first visit and was on duty in the early evening when we stayed again the following week. I’d happily stay here again if I’m in the area.

The staff were pleasant to talk to and accommodating, and the hotel was very well maintained. I loved the location, and guests can use a gym one block away through the hotel’s agreement with it. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The reception lady made a real impression on us. She was kind, professional, very intelligent, and spoke many languages fluently. We were surprised by how well she communicated with us, and her warmth added a special touch to the stay. We were there for one night with our family. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable that everyone slept well. Dinner was delicious, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and a variety and quality that exceeded our expectations. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous too, with lots of choices, from fresh pastries to hearty options. The drinks went well with the meal, and the friendly staff made sure we had what we needed. We arrived to warm hospitality, and the combination of good food, comfortable accommodation and attentive service made the night at Ibis Styles Regensburg fantastic. We’re grateful for the visit and look forward to coming back. Thank you for making it so enjoyable!

For a small room costing 140 euro, I expected more for the money. Parking costs another 12 euro as soon as you arrive, and early check-in is 30 euro more. They don’t even include instant coffee for free. This will definitely be my last stay here.

It’s a new, nice hotel, but charging the same price with breakfast and without it feels kind of deceiving. That’s why I’m giving it 2 stars. I’d rather stay somewhere I don’t have to argue, so I’ll probably choose another hotel next time.
