We took a 4 day stay with three girlfriends after spending three days at Oktoberfest in Munich, and it was wonderful, beyond what we expected. The single rooms were spotless and comfortable, the spa was super clean with the right services, and the pool was refreshing with great loungers. Everyone we met, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant and spa teams, was lovely and helpful. They managed our English without any problem. It’s an easy 1.5 hour train ride from Munich, then bus #3 for 15 minutes, which pretty much drops you at the Hotel-Spa door. If you’re flying out of Munich, the train from Regensburg to the airport takes 1.5 hours. We highly recommend it and are already planning another stay with friends soon.

We came for a spa day and a meal at the Restaurant. It was a perfect way to spend time after work. The spa is large and very clean, with several different saunas, including one that’s really big, plus a Hamam and a whirlpool. The water could have been warmer. The restrooms (refugium) were perfect for switching off, and there were nice people around, with fruit and tea available. The plates at the Restaurant were generous and the food was good. We’ll be back.

The staff were really friendly, the food was tasty, and there’s a nice outdoor pool and garden. It’s a quiet spa hotel, and the spa facilities are good. We booked a junior suite, but it didn’t feel like the right room for us: the bathroom was very tiny, there was no airo, no minibar, and nowhere to make coffee or tea.

The breakfast was excellent. We only stayed one night while passing through Germany, and the place seemed better suited to elderly people. Getting to our room meant walking down a really long, odd passage. There are no elevators to the rooms, so we had to carry our bags up three floors of stairs.
