Sunny Hotel Regenstauf

It’s very peaceful at night, with the windows shut blocking all noise and hardly any sound coming from the neighboring rooms. We spent a week here, felt very comfortable, and would gladly come back. The service was excellent, and you can get up to three cards. There’s a shared kitchen in the common room, plus a washer and dryer, and shops are nearby. It’s in an industrial area, but cycling to the Regen River and then on to Regensburg is easy, and there are excellent hiking trails around too. Especially recommended for cyclists, particularly if you get a ground-floor room.

The location is handy, with the highway, gas station, supermarket, and Eckert Schools all easy to reach. There’s also a lounge with a snack vending machine. The front parking spaces are good, while the ones at the back are a bit tight. You can park at the Eckert Schools and walk over since it’s close. The room was clean enough, though I saw brown stains in the bathroom shower gel compartment, and the rooms aren’t soundproof. Check-in at the machine worked at first, and you can get up to three room keys. I needed all three because each key only opened the room once, which was annoying and could be a problem on a longer stay. There’s a phone number to call. For the price, it was okay.

The common room has everything you need, including a washing machine, sink, equipped kitchen, vending machine for drinks and small travel essentials, plus free coffee. The room was clean and newly furnished. It’s a little off the main drag, but still not far. Top 10, thumbs up.

Shops are close, and there’s parking. The hotel was conveniently between the routes I needed to take, and it was very clean and quiet. I highly recommend it. 💪👌💪👌💪👌💪👌
