Hotel Krone

They used ozone to disinfect the room, and I had to leave the windows open for hours.

Super 👌 😘 ❤️

Only one waiter and one person in the kitchen were handling our wedding lunch for 50 guests. The promise that everyone could eat at the same time wasn’t kept at all, and some people waited over an hour longer than others. The food was partly inedible. Some guests said the soup tasted sour, and the roast pork was apparently barely edible. We had to arrange lunch here for our wedding party at short notice, and it badly affected what should have been a special day. The host seemed completely overwhelmed and showed no willingness to get things under control or accept help from guests. It seems he often makes promises he can’t keep. The menu was a carelessly put together white A4 sheet with awful printing and embarrassing spelling mistakes, which gave us an early warning of the mess to come. The tablecloths also weren’t white as promised, and some dishes weren’t served as agreed. It was a terrible experience that seriously hurt our wedding celebration. We can’t recommend this restaurant for events, especially weddings. Don’t be taken in by the initial promises. Stay away.

We decided on lunch here spontaneously and were pleased with it. The schnitzels were excellent, the service friendly, and the beer garden is a nice place to sit. This review is just about the restaurant. One small suggestion: the sunflower tablecloths in the beer garden clash with the seat cushions and bring down the overall look. Plain colors would work much better.
