The food alone makes this place worth a detour. It’s thoughtfully prepared in a French style, and the cuisine is top quality. The staff were warm and attentive to the little details. I’m not quick to give a 5/5, but this one earned it.

We were so happy with the room and breakfast. The room was individually designed, spotless, and furnished in a modern style, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a real gourmet treat. The Old School in Reichenwalde has been renovated beautifully, and its setting is peaceful, between Lake Scharmützel and Lake Storkow, by a rare inland dune and close to the Satama Thermal Baths. Thank you!

The owner was so friendly and accommodating, and we felt right at home in this small, cozy hotel with its quaint character. The rooms are named after school subjects, and antique school satchels line the hallway. It’s right on the road, though traffic dies down after 10 p.m. From here, it’s easy to head out on bike tours or visit Bad Saarow and other places. We’d happily recommend the hotel.

Our host was very friendly, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The hotel felt lovely and cozy, and our room was very clean and had everything we needed. We’d love to return.
